I have owned a hot tub for seven years now. I purchased the hot tub new. And have used it on an average of twice per week since the purchase of the hot tub. Our family enjoys using it very much. About four years ago, while it was under warranty, it acquired a leak. I spent a couple of months trying to figure out where it was leaking and could not.
I finally called the spa place where I purchased the hot tub. Since it was still under warranty, I thought it would be an easy fix for them. However, I was very wrong. During conversations with the repair techs at the store I learned that they would come to my house, dismantle the hot tub and remove the insulation in order to find the leak. And then repair the hot tub. Essentially they would have to destroy the hot tub, in order to fix the leak. I was very uncomfortable with this because we have the hot tub outside and our climate is very cold in the winter as it is New York State. This would mean all the insulating properties would be gone after the leak was repaired.
I decided to do a little more research on my own and found this liquid fix a leak stuff online at Amazon.com. I decided to try it since it wasn’t very expensive it was around $10 or so. I followed the instructions for the fix a leak, which were simple. Just add the liquid to the hot tub and ran the Jets for three hours.
The results were simply amazing! I did not have to do anything to repair the hot tub. The liquid sealed wherever the leak was and I have been using the hot tub ever since without a problem. It has been leak free for four years now. I would totally recommend this product to anyone who has a small leak they cannot find in their hot tub. You can purchase it below.
A great find by the Fixie Chick!
