This mid-size luxury sports sedan has everything one looks for in a vehicle of this class –luxury; space; sophistication and power. The M Series is a versatile car that is offered in 3.5-liter V6 (M35) and 4.5-liter V8 (M45) engines. These are further divided into 35x and 45x.
For this year, the M35 has got an automatic seven-speed transmission, while the 35x retains the five-speed manual. The new paint that Infiniti claims can heal minor scratches on its own is also added.
It takes on the BMW 5 Series; Mercedes Benz E-Class and the Lexus GS.
Engine and performance
The M35 drives on a 3.5-liter V6 DOHC that generates 275 hp and 268 lb ft of torque, while the M45 is given a V8 DOHC that has 325 horsepower and 336 lb ft of torque. A seven-speed electronically controlled transmission with electronically controlled five-speed automatic with Drive Sport is given. The 35 and 45 models drive on rear-wheel, while the x models have all-wheel drive only.
Fuel estimates vary between 14 and 21 mpg for the trims.
